Went to a pumpkin patch in Crete, Illinois called Settlers Pond. It’s an animal rescue shelter and there are some beautiful animals there. There was a camel with a bad foot, a blind horse, a joey kangaroo with a cast on it’s leg in a baby carriage just chilling by the concession stand, some emu and some other weird birds, lama… If you are looking for a dog or a cat or a goat, I’m pretty sure they have an adoption service. It sure is nice to get out of the city, I need to go swimming in a creek real bad!
